BFS IOA - Letter from Chairman - April 2007

A few weeks ago we had the BFS IOA Annual General Meeting for 2007 in the nice town of Antwerp in Belgium. The meeting was attended by about 50 of our members, both Operators and Suppliers. There were a lot of interesting presentations and discussions during the meeting. Many of them had connection to one of the most important roles of the BFS IOA – to better understand the regulations from the authorities for aseptic processing with the BFS technique, and be able to influence in what direction it will go in the future. BFS IOA European Conference and AGM in Antwerp, Belgium on 27-28 March 2007

We are pleased to invite all members to BFS IOA annual general meeting and conference in the beautiful city of Antwerp on 27-28 March 2007. It was earlier announced that the meeting was to be held in Brussels, but due to hotel availability, the meeting has been moved to Antwerp which is only 35 km from Brussels International Airport . Presentations at the meeting will feature technical theme around “worldwide regulations for aseptic processing and meeting the requirements in Blow Fill Seal technology”.

We are quickly approaching the end of 2006, and it is with some pride the Board and myself are looking back at a successful year. We are currently, in 2006, back in “growth mode” and I must say that the interest for the Association has been great during all of our meetings this year....
