Presentations from last weeks European meeting in Camberley UK

BFS IOA European meeting last week had a record turn out - 66 persons representing more than 30 companies participated. At the meeting, the 20th anniversary of the BFS IOA meeting was celebrated on the location of its founding. Participants was invited on a tour of Boehringer Ingelheim BFS plant in Bracknell. Asia/Pacific meeting in Kuala Lumpur

December 3-4, 2008 we will have our annual Asia/Pacific meeting. Presentations at the meeting with be on polymers for BFS and labelling, printing and overwrapping of BFS containers. To get more details on the meeting, please see website. <<Kuala Lumpure meeting>>

 

Event calendar 2009

Tentative dates and locations for 2009 have now been planned. The theme for 2009 meetings will be around machines and machinery including preventive maintenance. Further there will be presentations and discussions on critical processing zone. <<Event calendar>>

 

Point to Consider (PTC)

A major millstone in BFS IOA accomplishments is that our newest revision of PTC will be published as technical report by PDA. Our PTC have undergone peer review from PDA organisation and is BFS IOA outline on what need to be considered when producing products using BFS technology to ensure good products. Once published by PDA, expected to be in October, we will publish PTC on our website. We have also secured printed copies of the PDA technical report and BFS IOA members can request one printed copy per company. <<See cover of PDA Technical Report on BFS>>

 

BFS literature reference directory

A few years back we established a literature reference directory for scientific papers related to BFS technology. The aim was to provide an updated and relevant reference list by adding most recent references as they are published.
